PADUA AND THE VENETIAN VILLAS

Padua is one of the oldest cities on the peninsula and the oldest in the Veneto region. It can be 
considered one of the cultural capitals of Italy, not to mention that it is the second oldest 
university city. Padua is located at the eastern end of the Po Valley, about 10 km north of the 
Euganean Hills and about 20 km west of the Venice Lagoon. The city, whose territory is entirely flat, 
was born and developed within the catchment area of ​​the Brenta river which over the centuries 
has given it form and protection. Padua is undoubtedly a city to visit but also the surrounding areas, 
where many famous Venetian villas are located, are part of the characteristic city. Villa Pisani, also 
called the "Queen of the Venetian Villas", is located along the Brenta Riviera and is worth visiting; 
starting from the ballroom with its frescoes on the ceiling, along the corridors and entering the various 
rooms that contain furniture and works of art from the 18th and 19th centuries and finally reaching the outside 
of the villa, in the garden where it was made the famous hedge maze, one of the most important in Europe. 
Villa Pisani, in addition tohosting various exhibitions, is itself a museum! The excursion planned by us,
